SUMMER POSITION: ARTISTIC ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN for the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival’s 41th Season. Duties include: welcoming and orienting artists upon arrival; coordinating airport transportation; preparing artist information materials. Must have good communication, people, organizational, and computer skills; a positive attitude; the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment; a valid driver’s license and be 21 years old by 7/10/13. Desirable: classical music background, enrollment in Arts Administration program, experience working with artists. Employment: June 24 – August 22, 2013. Stipend $480/wk, housing provided. HOUSE MANAGER SUMMER POSITION to oversee front-of-house activities for 41th Season of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. Duties include training ushers, preparing and opening the house, supervising lobby, insuring comfort and safety of patrons, preparing reports. Required: house management experience, strong organizational and people skills, with the ability to work with grace under pressure, make quick decisions and handle emergencies. Term of employment: July 9 – August 22, 2013. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Housing provided. Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival is an internationally acclaimed six-week summer festival of over 45 chamber music concerts and youth concerts performed by world-class musicians. The Artistic Director is Marc Neikrug. The over 80 participating artists for the 41th Season will include: Victor Asuncion, Inon Barnatan, Benjamin Beilman, Jeremy Denk, Harvey de Souza, Lawrence Foster, Lily Francis , Jennifer Gilbert, Daniel Hope, Soyeon Kate Lee, Ida Kavafian, Anne-Marie McDermott, Carol McGonnell, Patrick Messina, Miami String Quartet, Garrick Ohlsson, Opus One, Orion Quartet, William Preucil , Shanghai Quartet , Lucy Shelton, Joshua Smith, Liang Wang, Matthew Worth, Shai Wosner, and others.
